"I've been searching high and low for a Hanwei Anniversary Shinto but no one has one. Why?"
Well things started to go south at the end of last year. You see, our friends at Hanwei were due to complete a brand new shiny forge before the end of the year, but what they didn't count on was Mother Nature throwing the proverbial weather spanner in the works. The net result all production was halted whilst the forge was completed.
So, no production meant no new inventory, and it wasn't long before all inventory was depleted here in the US of A hence why Steve in Idaho can't find the sword anywhere.
But its not all bad. Production was slated to start back up in April and the first batch of new stock, albeit small, arrived a couple of weeks ago. Hanwei US is still out of stock on many many sku's but hopefully inventory will start to trickle in over the coming months until they are back up to normal stock levels.
